About IH

International House Belfast is a specialist language school which has been set up by a group of language teaching professionals with over 30 years experience in the field.

Our aim is to provide English language students from all over the world with a comfortable, friendly and technologically advanced environment in which they can develop their language skills.

We know that learning a new language can be demanding, but we also believe it can be stimulating and fun. That's why we only employ highly qualified language teachers who have proven ability to teach their students effectively and in an engaging manner.

We also offer a range of training programmes for language teachers including a course leading to the University of Cambridge's Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA).

IH Belfast also offers a full range of complementary services including an accommodation placement service, a programme of social and cultural activities, and a counselling service for students who need help and advice while staying with us.
