CELTA course, applications

Applicants for the course must complete an application form and a pre interview task.

We will then set up an interview, for which we will ask you to telephone (or Skype) us at a pre-arranged time.

To secure a place once you have been accepted you should ensure that the full fee is paid at least six weeks before the course begins.

Applicants applying less than six weeks before the course are required to pay the fees on acceptance.

Please note that wherever possible, correspondence with prospective course candidates is carried out by email.

We have a reputation for excellent response to applications, so if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of emailing us, please telephone +44 (0) 28 9033 0700 to check the progress of your application.

  • Course fees 2012: £1,230

Price includes Cambridge registration fee.

How to pay for the course

NOTE You should not pay anything until you have submitted your application and been interviewed.

Once you have been accepted for the course (which we will tell you at the end of the interview), you can pay for the course by bank transfer or by credit card.

Direct bank transfer

Transfers should be made to our account: IH Belfast Teacher Training Ltd, held at the Northern Bank, 49-51 University Road, Belfast BT7 1ND. Sort code: 950149. Account number: 40199893.

Notes:

  • Use your name and your course code as a reference for bank payments.
  • To secure your place please fax the proof of payment to +44 (0) 28 9033 1800 or scan it and attach it to an email.

Credit card

You can pay for the course by Visa or Mastercard.

Please let us have the card type, card number, name as it is on the card and the date of expiry. You can email, fax or phone through this information. We will delete your email (or destroy your fax) once we have processed the payment.

Please note: if the card you wish to use is not in your name, we need a fax authorising its use for payment of your course, signed by the cardholder. We will not put the payment through without this authorisation.

Cancellations

In the case of cancellation six weeks or more before the course starting date, 20% of our total fee will be retained. With less than six weeks' notice, 50% of our total fee will be retained. Once the course has started, no refunds shall be given. If cancellation occurs in the final ten days before the starting date our total fee will be retained.

In the event of a course being cancelled all fees will be refunded.
