Cambridge exam courses 2010

Our Cambridge exam courses are 25 hours per week and combine a 20-hour intensive course with 5 hours of exam preparation.

The course runs over 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks.

International House Belfast offers Cambridge exam preparation courses at four levels: Preliminary English Test (PET), First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE) and Proficiency (CPE).

Students will be advised which level to take on arrival.

Course start dates and exam dates 2010

Exam dates:

• PET: 4 March - 5 June – 3 December
• FCE: 13 March - 12 June - 7 December
• CAE: 6 March - 16 June – 8 December
• CPE: 6 March - 17 June – 9 December

Exam Preparation course dates:

• For the March exams: Courses are starting on: 18 January (8 weeks); 1 February (6 weeks), 15 February (4 weeks); 1 March (except for PET) (2 weeks)
• For the June exams: Courses are starting on 19 April (8 weeks) 17 May (4 weeks)
• For the December exams: 11 October (8 weeks) ; 25 October (6 weeks) , 8 November

Fees

• 8 weeks Course: £1680
• 6 weeks Course: £1260
• 4 weeks course: £880
• 2 weeks course: £440

Exam Fees:
FCE: £100
CAE: £110
CPE: £120

Courses are guaranteed to take place even for 1 person registered.

Taking your exam

Note that it is possible to take Cambridge exams at International House Belfast.

We strongly advise that you register for your exam 8 weeks in advance, although later registration is possible for a supplementary fee.

 

Holidays 2010
The school will be closed for public holidays on the following dates:

1 January; 17 March; 2, 5 April; 3 and 31 May; 12 July; 30 August and from 23 December to 3 January 2011.

Please note that classes lost on the public holidays listed above cannot be made up at other times.
