Student apartment accommodation, Belfast

If you prefer the maximum amount of freedom, you can choose to stay in a single bedroom in a fully furnished student apartment. We offer 1 or 2 bedroom apartments.

No meals are provided but you have the use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals.

Sandhurst House Residence

Sandhurst House is a newly built block of apartments and is situated in a quiet street just around the corner from IH Belfast. It is an ideal location for our students, as they are only a few seconds away from IH Belfast and at the same time they are near the University District, which is full of shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

The city centre and all main bus stations and train stations are within walking distance.

The building is completely new and finished to a very high standard and consists of 1 and 2 bedroom, fully furnished apartments (including fridge, washing machine, TV, oven and dishwasher).

The one bedroom apartments are equipped with a kitchen and a dining area, 1 toilet, 1 shower room, and a lounge.

The two bedroom apartments consist of 2 private bedrooms. In this case, common areas - the toilet, kitchen and living room are shared with 1 other student. Each student will have their own shower.

If you choose a shared apartment, you will share with another student for part or for the entire duration of your stay. We will always try to match your stay with somebody who speaks a different language from you. If you come with a friend you may request to stay in the same apartment or you can request separate apartments.

Towels and sheets are provided by IH Belfast. You will receive 2 sets of sheets and 4 towels at the start of your stay which you can launder yourself and keep until the end of your stay.

The building also has wi-fi.

Note that Sandhurst House is a non-smoking house.

An accommodation placement fee of £45 will be charged to all students who use accommodation provided by IH Belfast.

All accommodation is arranged from the Sunday evening before the course begins until the Saturday morning after the course ends. The prices quoted are for the same period.

If it is impossible to arrange arrival and departure times in accordance with these days, extra nights can normally be arranged on payment of the supplement.

Please note If you choose accommodation in an apartment, you will be asked to leave your credit card details with our staff. Any loss or damage that is attributed to you will be deducted from your card.
