Summer schools

This year we are running 3 Teenage summer schools:

  • Rockport Teenage Centre 4 weeks from Friday 1st to Saturday 30th July (inclusive)
  • Share Adventure Centre 6 weeks from Sunday 26th June to Saturday 6th August (inclusive)
  • Queen's Teenage Centre 4 weeks from Monday 4th to Friday 29th July (inclusive)

Our requirements for teachers are:

  • CELTA or equivalent
  • Some experience working with teenagers, although not necessarily in a teaching capacity
  • Attendance at an induction day

In most of our teaching jobs, teachers will be expected to be involved in the social programme and to carry out some pastoral duties. For residential staff all accommodation and meals are provided for the duration of the contract.

Our requirements for non-teaching staff (Activity leaders) are:

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Some experience/training in working with young teenagers/outdoor pursuits
  • A responsible attitude
  • An outgoing personality
  • Attendance at an induction day

International House, Belfast offers Intensive General English courses at all levels from beginner to proficient, Business English courses and evening classes and we pride ourselves on our team of dedicated, enthusiastic teachers.
