TEFL

International House, Belfast offers Intensive General English courses at all levels from beginner to proficient, Business English courses and evening classes and we pride ourselves on our team of dedicated, enthusiastic teachers.

If you are interested in working with us, the minimum requirements are CELTA or equivalent and one year's experience as well as a genuine interest in teaching and developing your skills as a teacher.

Summer School

Our summer school this year will run for one month from the 30th June until the 25th of July for teenagers aged between 12 and 16.

Our requirements for teachers are:

• CELTA or equivalent
• Some experience working with teenagers, although not necessarily in a teaching capacity.
• Attendance of a two-day induction on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June.

Teachers will be expected to be involved in the social programme and to carry out some pastoral duties. For residential staff all accommodation and meals are provided for the duration of the contract.

Our requirements for non-teaching staff are:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Some experience working with young teenagers
• A responsible attitude
• An outgoing personality
• Attendance of a one-day induction on Saturday 28th June.
