Booking a course

Applying for a course:

You can book a course by clicking the red ‘BOOK NOW’ button the top right of the page, or you can email study@ihbelfast.com to request our enrolment form. We operate a continuous enrolment policy, which means that any student can start on any Monday and can study for as many weeks as they like.

We require a deposit for all bookings, which is payable by credit card or bank transfer:

    • EU and EEA residents:  a deposit of £100 is payable which we will deduct from your total bill.
    • Short Term Student Visa applicants:  a deposit of £200 is payable, which we will deduct from your total bill. However, residents of certain countries are required to pay the full gross course fees at the time of booking.

When you make your reservation, we will make contact by email within 24 hours, either to confirm your course and accommodation or to discuss alternative arrangements if any of your choices are not available.

Note: The course fee includes registration fee and materials fee. We charge a placement fee of £50 on accommodation bookings in all cases.

Confirming your course:

Once your reservation is confirmed,  we will send an invoice and a booking confirmation document by email, which includes detailed travel information. If you book homestay accommodation, we will later send an updated confirmation document with the full details of your homestay.

Payment:

Deposits (see above) are required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is due on the first day of the student’s course. Please note that the client is responsible for all bank charges. We regret that we cannot accept payment by Traveller’s Cheque.  All payments should be made in GBP (£).

Please note that any bank charges (for example exchange fees) incurred are payable by the client and will be added to the total balance of the fees. However, we do not charge commission on credit card payments.

Cheques should be made payable to International House Belfast Ltd., and sent to the school address.

Beginner students:

Please note: we do not normally have Beginner level available. There may be a beginner level class open at special times throughout the year but this is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. Please check with the school in advance. The price for a beginner level course is £250 per week – if available. If a student arrives at the school and has not informed us that they are a beginner, IH Belfast reserves the right to offer a course of equal or greater value or to refund payment and cancel the booking
